That was an amazing game for Kat, and as only a sophomore, her future looked bright. Unfortunately, her injury cut the junior season short, and she wasn't quite her old self her senior season. The breaks just go the wrong way for some people.
Kat had the chance to redshirt last year but chose to play because she wanted to play, and she wanted to help her team. Think about this though, had she redshirted last year, she could have played this season, and next season. Again I'll say it, bad breaks all around for her. How nice would it have been to have her this year and next?!

I think last season the team thought they were going to be really successful (ie Nat. Champ special) and then they had two injuries and it fell apart. Kat wanted to be a part of that season.

YES, just checked Hoopstats and Oregon State Women's Basketball is BACK. The Beav's are ranked 341 out 343 teams in steals/game. We are playing OUR game again, watch out other teams!!!!!!

SR makes players run extra laps if they steal the ball. It means they were not playing his positional defense.
Not here to promote Ukies or Kelly Graves, but this interview includes his take on OSU players and the upcoming game. Discussion on the Beavers starts at 5:12 and goes for 6 minutes. He is very high on Talia and Sasha. Plans to vote Sasha onto the Pac-12 all Freshman team.

Maybe thickhead is figuring it wrong, but it looks to him like the game vs the Ducks will probably affect seeding in the Pac-12 tournament.
If we beat the Ducks on Sunday, then we would be the #5 seed. If we then beat UW or Cal in our first tourney game, the sequence of games to win the tourney, in order, would probably be:
Ducks #4 Stanford #1 Arizona #2 or UCLA #3
If OSU loses to the Ducks on Sunday, then we would probably be the #6 seed behind Colorado and the sequence of games would be:
UCLA #3 Arizona #2 Stanford #1
So it appears that we may have a better chance of getting to the tourney finals by avoiding an early game against Stanford if we lose to the Ducks on Sunday. Here's hoping !!
PS: thickhead thinks he's going to catch some flak for even talking about this....

What’s with the third-person affectation?

I can not remember the last time the Pac 12 station broadcast a beaver game. So it wouldn't surprise me if they figured out a way to end up just showing the Ducks playing in Sundays game and using special effects to eliminate the beavers from the screen.
