The guy played 3rd base in fall ball. Now he is our stud go to guy. He may have looked like a surfer dude before the buzz cut, but he has ice water flowing in those veins. I'd like to see him as a starter, before the season is over. As a freshman, you couldn't have asked for anything more from him.

By the way: ESPN-U had you and your sign "Dam Right I'm a Beaver" as a highlight of the game after the final out. Okay, it was just your sign but I know who was behind that sign and it did show your beard!

He did a great job, cold blooded. Where are the rest of them? I realize the staff is basically a patch work quilt, but what happened to all the promise of some of those guys, I can't believe they all forgot how to pitch! To be fair, if the ucks could field they would likely have won last night, we got lucky more than once.

Luck counts, and errors are part of the game (a big part at the college level)... Just ask UNC, they still break out in hives when anyone squares to bunt.
But I agree, Fehmel has been a solid hurler for us. He eats innings, lets his defense do their job and rarely gets in trouble with free passes.
