McD's AAs coming to OSU is starting to become a regular occurrence. von Oelhoffen likely would've been as well, if she hadn't enrolled early.

3 McDonalds AA's, plus Taylor and Talia in the Freshman and Sophomore class. That's a nice foundation to build on.

Besides the fact that Greta made the team is that when you lead through the list, so many of them the Beavs were able to make some in roads in recruiting with. It's nice to know the Beavs have a program where the best players in the country take notice when the Beavs talk to them.
Oh, and I'm sure Talia would have made the team. It's a little sad that they apparently disqualified players who made the jump this season because of Covid. The recognition is something they can cherish all their life.

Talia made the right choice for her development, for sure. Sit on your butt, doing nothing... or go compete against top competition.... hands down the right decision... if the McDonald’s committee considered that a disqualifying act, shame on them. That said, I can see an argument that is there is no basketball, you can’t be all league, all state, or all American. But earning PAC-12 freshman of the week should be enough to get them to add her. Regardless, great choice Talia! Welcome! Beat the yuks!

Olivia Miles (Notre Dame's early-enrollee) would have certainly been named one if early enrollees were eligible.

There wasn't an actual McDs AA game last year. Will there be this year? If not, it's kind of hollow. Still an honor to be chosen for the team, but if you don't get to go to wherever the game is held, participate in all the stuff surrounding it, and play the actual game, it loses a lot of its meaning.
