How many games has OSU won at Maples ever? 1 or 2? This would be a loss almost certainly, and as a bubble tournament team I get why Rueck might be ducking a make up game at this point. Still it's a bit disappointing for the OSU program not to step up to the challenge. I think Syd's Sr. year was the first and only time they've won at Maples. |

This bodes well for them getting an invite. The tournament needs storylines and names that draw attention, and this team provides more of that than most. They also set up well for being a bracket-buster. |

From another thread, it sounds like we were pointed toward scheduling with the devils this week but that it didn’t come to be. It’s entirety possible that the timing of that didn’t allow proper focus on a trees matchup instead. I don’t think it’s fair to say, or imply, we are ducking the trees without knowing the full situation. Beat the yucks!

Well, OSU still has Wed, Thur, or Fri this week to figure something out with Stanford...Tara said it was/is an "open invitation". A second game with the Beavs is the only thing preventing Stanford from completing a full 22 game conference schedule, so OSU is the ONLY team Stanford can play as a makeup game. Tara is waiting by the phone  |
