I think somebody did this previously. Pretty interesting to look at some stats (ppg, overall FG%, 3 point FG%):
Aleah Goodman 16.6 .475 .521 Charisma Osborne 18.1 .373 .378 Aari McDonald 18.8 .391 .317 Kiana Williams 14.1 .419 .338 Charlisse Leger-Walker 19.7 .379 .345 Endiya Rogers 15.7 .408 .340
Aleah is in a different zip code than the rest of them when it comes to efficiency. Several of them are higher volume scorers, but not by that much really.

She might have a pro career judging by those comparisons. Every year has seen steady improvement in her game. Really good at driving to the hoop now compared to earlier.

I've liked Aleah since before she committed to the Beavs. 5A player of the year for three years! A person doesn't win player of the year as a sophomore unless they are really really good. Rueck gave her the biggest compliment by comparing her to Sage Indendi. Without her his national championship and undefeated season at George Fox probably doesn't happen. Without her the first two years at OSU would have been much more dismal. Those first couple years were so important to build a base to recruit to.
If Aleah comes back next year, and I believe she will, and we get a full summer of player led practices and strength and conditioning, we will be very, very good. There will be four freshman guards that will benefit from her leadership.
I highly recommend those that think she is not a point guard to do a little research, she had always been a point guard in high school. Rueck called her a true point guard. Rueck had used her a lot at the point. Last year he trusted her enough to be the point at the end of the game while Destiny sat.

I think her time on the 3v3 USA team really helped her driving game. And she'll for sure get a look by pro leagues due to her shooting. She may not end up being a star but coming off of the bench to shoot isn't a bad gig.

Thanks for posting those comparative stats for the group that is considered by most observers to include the top PAC-12 point guards this season. Goodman has a longstanding reputation for putting significant time in to develop and refine her outside shot while at OSU as well as during her high school and AAU years. What really jumps out to me from the above stats is that Goodman is having her best shooting year as a collegian (from both the field and outside the arc) while the other preseason favorites for the top guards in the conference are really struggling with their shooting from the field. Several are sporting career-worst shooting percentages this season. The interruptions due to COVID likely account for some of the others' shooting woes, but Goodman appears to be the lone improved shooting percentage anomaly amongst that group of probable All-PAC-12 Conference talent.

I love how she has stepped up to a new level and is taking the game on when we needed it most. Biggest congrats to her!!!
I wonder if she would go pro this year if the opportunity arose for her.

I got the sense that...when she changed from "just taking general classes because she was 'schooled out'" to going for masters after the NCAA changed the rule it meant that she would more than likely be back. With that said, we shall see. We could really use her next year.

She better get pac 12 plAyer of the wéek She should....but I don't have complete faith in the committee that decides this. And what about Talia von Oelhoffen as freshman of the week? Or, will they just give it to Charlisse Leger-Walker yet again? Well, if they don't award Talia freshman of the week, she should at least be recognized as the collegiate high school player of the week

She was very inefficient shooting wise.

Aleah certainly has a strong case for player of the week, but so does Taylor. If Talia doesn't get freshman of the week, there's something very wrong with the system.
Speaking of freshman of the week, I wonder what they're going to call that award next year - perhaps Freshman Who Never Played College Ball Before of the Week?

I didn't want to jinx Aleah, but her three worst games this season were against the three ranked teams OSU has played against. By having a good game against UCLA she has solidified her
placement as the best PG in the Pac-12. Although, like Jones, I'm not convinced the she will be voted to the all Pac-12 team.

Can’t resist saying we have a lot to thank Destiny for, especially her leaving. Individuals have risen to the opportunities and the team as a whole is more cohesive. I especially appreciated Aleah’s intensity on defense, often seeing her drop down to double team which was great in setting an example for others. It’s a joy seeing her relish the spotlight she has worked so hard for, coupled with her enthusiasm for guiding the younger players.

Just think how good she would be if she was actually a Pac-12 level PG. Potentially this we help end that debate.
