I say schedule Arizona. I think we can beat them. It would be a bold move to schedule them and would be brave of them to take us on.

The tournament is set to be held weds to Fri, off Sat, championship on Sunday. The only reason I can see being done is to allow some cancelations, if needed, to be played. If OSU wins their first game but loses their second, they may want another game. If they win 2,then lose one, they may elect to take a rest as they would have a another top 4 conference win under their belts.

There was a comment by SR I think saying there was a game in the works that 'would benefit us'. Presumably mid-week before the game formally known as the civil war Doesn't look like they will play this week.

I think the original plan may have been to play Arizona State this week prior to the Oregon game. If you look at this article, the Beavs and ASU were the two teams who showed interest in a makeup game. And while the article is dated 2/20, I'm pretty sure the reporter's info would have been gathered prior to the Friday games, when the Beavs were in the bubble and ASU was still clinging to a slim hope for the tournament. Well, a lot has changed since then. The Beavs pulled off the SoCal sweep and ASU took the faceplant at Cal. That likely takes the Beavs out of the bubble and into the field of 64 for now, while ASU falls even further out of the bubble. Nothing would be gained from playing ASU (NET #94) at this point, so I'm glad the makeup game has been dropped.

I'd like to get another game before the Ducks. Another win would make our conference winning percentage that much better, and perhaps make a difference in conference seeding. It would also guarantee at least a .500 record in conference.
We could play either Washington or Cal, an easy trip for whichever team is the visitor.
