Notes: This is through Sasha's first 11 games. Hanson never shot over .300 from 3 the rest of her career and never shot over .400 overall again. Aleah Goodman averaged 16.6 minutes per game as a freshman averaging 6.3 pts and shooting .439, and .462 from 3. Sasha's 11 rebounds in her first 11 games is far better than the final total freshman season numbers of Weisner 5, Weise 7, and Hanson's 2. Hanson had 12 blocks after 3 seasons. Weisner had 11 blocks after 3 seasons.

Just think where Sasha could be if she had a full summer of team bonding and player led practices. Or even just a place to shoot hoops. A full fall practice and then a bunch of team development pre conference games followed by a regular conference schedule with 2 games a week, every week. And the ability to practice with the full team through out the season.
I think her stats next year will be more relevant. It is interesting to see the comparison though. Thanks for posting it

rmancarl - you don't need to be a stat lover to appreciate interesting information presented in a thoughtful way....🏀
It's always interesting, at least to me, to go back in time and be reminded how some of our greats did in their Frosh seasons... I think were going to see some great performances out of Sasha in the next few years (who doesn't?) - but I'll be really encouraged when she adds 10 -15 pounds to her string-bean frame....
Thanks for posting. GO BEAVS!!

Well, lets count on the freshman 15 for her... seems to be a thing I've heard.... We've had a lot of OSUWBB players put on noticeable muscle following their freshman years. Is that what you're referring to?
