UCLA had the lead with less than 2 minutes to go, but the Cougs pulled it out... Love it!!! GO BEAVS!!

I think Coach Close really blew it in this one. Some terrible offensive sets down the stretch when they had regained the lead. They looked dead in the water down 9 in the 4th quarter, turned it around w/ forcing TOs and getting transition buckets. Half court offense was pretty awful after the first quarter.

I said it before, I will say it again. WSU reminds me a lot of OSU when we were 'up an coming'. In what way? Stylistically they systems are not very similar.

Bruins 'Couged It !! 54 seconds to go, UCLA has a 2 point lead and ball possession w full shot clock available. Final 54 seconds: no points, 2 TO, 2 PF, 0-2 shooting

Both teams are/were 100% female (not counting coaching staff or assistants) 2. Both teams play/played in the Pac-12 3. Both teams play/played for a State university with the word "State" in their name. 4. Both teams play/played by the same set of rules 5. Both teams show/showed hustle So, I see a lot of similarities )))))

Cori Close gets the least out of the talent she has than anyone in the PAC-12. WSU coach has my vote for conference coach of the year.

I don't think you get to the sweet 16, 4 years in a row, with a lousy coach. There's only so much the person on the sideline can do to push the team to a win.

UW leads USC 36-33 in the middle of the third.
Would be the biggest “win” OSU can get without playing.

Cori Close is probably not the best in game coach, but she's done a nice job of getting quality players into their program, which makes them a threat to win it all every year. What I like about her is her off the court promotion of the Pac12. She's a nice promoter of the conference, and I can see why players are drawn to her program.....besides the fact that it's a nice campus in a nice neighborhood.
