We finally had two games scheduled on the Pac12 network, and I just set them to tape. Bummer! Hope everyone stays healthy.

This season was cursed from the beginning, and had already pretty much morphed into "wait until next year."
Still, we had finally gained some momentum and were generating some excitement, and this just dumped a big bucket of water on that. It's very frustrating for all of us, and no doubt more so for the team.
I liked our chances against Arizona, and was looking forward to both games. But, you just have to keep after it, one day at a time.

This along with the non Pac 12 broadcasts the last two weeks makes me wonder why I even am subscribing to Sling.

Benton county's COVID case numbers have been way up lately, but few hospitalizations except for one major nursing home outbreak. No numbers being reported out of OSU, but you can sort of guess where the majority of New cases are coming from.

You have to feel bad for all the girls, but Talia left High School because it didn't look like they would play, and then this happens.

I am so tired of watching the duck girls play all the time. There must be a conspiracy going on.

This along with the non Pac 12 broadcasts the last two weeks makes me wonder why I even am subscribing to Sling. We just stream them on my wife's tablet and hook that up to the TV screen. I think the adapter cost about 30 bucks. If it's an away game, you can mute their announcer and listen on the radio.

No numbers being reported out of OSU, but you can sort of guess where the majority of New cases are coming from. Unfortunately, the three variants -- UK, SA, and Brazil are due to hit soon. All are highly contagious and Brazil is much more deadly.

If Noelle Mannen had an identical twin, she could ride piggyback on Noelle's shoulders and still not be as tall as Jelena. LOL.....Noelle looks like a little grade schooler standing in between 6'9", 6'8", and 6'4"!!

Oh come on. This is absolutely ridiculous. I was finally excited about the team again and ready for a good game against Arizona today. This sucks big time. SMH, SMH, SMH....

As has been indicated throughout this season, the full schedule - completed as planned , was going to be a huge challenge. Should be a continuing problem due to the variants and other risks related to an indoor sport. I agree, with posters above, that the situation is very unsettling , but, above all - we need to ensure that the athletes and other students and Families and friends, have their short and long term health prioritized as the number one objective ! They should be 'learning' about where the potential exposures are within the program, and applying new procedures and processes to the program - so, one would expect to see much less risk for this year . I was also excited to see their play this weekend - so, it's a huge bummer to all the fans. Both men and the women's programs have some incredible athletes, that are so fun to watch, and that makes game postponements even more upsetting ! Go Beavers - Stay safe and healthy !

Another complicating factor is the girls living situation. The entire team lives with 1 or more teammates, so a single positive in the household most likely takes out the entire household. I assume that's what happened in the earlier shutdown, was it was an infection in a group of 4 living in one of the townhouses, and all 4 where infected. Hopefully this positive can be isolated and the team can be back to work in a week.

I wonder if any of these cases are even symptomatic. This age level is not known to be vulnerable. Plus there are plenty of evidence of these tests producing false positives. Plus yesterday it was discussed by government health officials on live Mic that the deat1h rates are now at the same levels as the common flu virus. Im like the churches on this one except for the vornerable group ages, like the flu, we need to not have there lives controlled by this.if kids are getting symptoms with there testing there really nothing there but fear monggering. One mans opinion.

Has it been confirmed to be a player? I haven't seen that anywhere. Potentially it is a coach or support staff?
