Is the OSU vs UW game that is, I believe, scheduled for Tuesday going to be on the PAC 12 network? If not, why not? Seems like OSU fans are really getting the shaft in regards to seeing their team on TV especially considering that so many of their games have been postponed, and when one is actually played the network is not showing it.

Pac12 oregon showed the schmucks vs puskies three times yesterday and the main pac12 showed it twice iirc. And the there was a total of at least 3 hours of s%#t about i and hebard.
This seems to be the trend. uo is shown over and over while the Beavs are ignored.

According to both Pac-12 page and Beavers WBB page it will be live streamed but not broadcast on Pac-12. Lame. Again, trying to make a positive out of this - Ron Callan calling and no Pac-12 talking heads/commercials. GO BEAVS!

That's actually huge sewingbeaver, those pac-12 commercials played over and over are mind-numbing and now the one with Bill Walton doing the voice over , well, ya know, not my fav.

The Pac 12 network absolutely blows.
I have Comcast/xfinity in Seattle. I pay an absolute buttload of money to them every month.
The xfinity guide shows I have 5 Pac12 channels. Every damn one of them was showing the UW/UO game yesterday.

I remember in the good 'ol days when there might be 3 different games being broadcast on the various Pac 12 channels simultaneously.

Game is at 4PM and is showing as an OSU LIVE STREAM .. not on PAC 12 !
If you google the '20-'21 schedule for either wbb, or mbb, they show all games played as well as upcoming games with broadcast information !
My best source by far !

I took my first look this season at Realtime rpi. I see they have OSU at #217 rpi. UW #152. Realtime has OSU by 3, 68-65 in what essentially is a toss-up game.

If OSU doesn't manage to win this one, they should probably just shut down the rest of the season.
UW has all kinds of issues. Somehow they manage to hang around some teams, but they aren't good. I have no explanation for their nearly 30 point beatdown of BYU, but since conference play has started they've been struggling mightily. They shoot poorly and are turnover prone, same story the entirety of Coach Wynn's tenure there.

From a fans perspective I'll be disappointed if those today...but supremely disappointed if they "shut down" the rest of the season. I'm honestly enjoying watching Goforth, Samuel and now Von Oelhoffen find their 'sea legs" in big time D1 WBB. If nothing else, the 9 remaining scheduled games will give all 3 of them a step ahead come next season. Who knows, maybe this 'extra' season will contribute to one of them someday being the all-time leading scorer in OSU WBB. |
