Stanford wrestles for the 1st time this season and take out CSB 29-13...any thoughts?
125 Jackson DiSario (Stanford) over Eddie Flores (CSU Bakersfield) (SV-1 8-6) 133 Jason Miranda (Stanford) over Chance Rich (CSU Bakersfield) (Fall 6:01) 141 Angelo Martinoni (CSU Bakersfield) over Luciano Arroyo (Stanford) (MD 12-0) 149 Jaden Abas (Stanford) over Kalani Tonge (CSU Bakersfield) (Dec 13-6) 157 Requir Van der Merwe (Stanford) over Brock Rogers (CSU Bakersfield) (MD 13-5) 165 Tyler Eischens (Stanford) over Braden Smelser (CSU Bakersfield) (TF 15-0 5:02) 174 Shane Griffith (Stanford) over Albert Urias (CSU Bakersfield) (MD 15-5) 184 Dominic Ducharme (CSU Bakersfield) over Jared Hill (Stanford) (Dec 4-0) 197 Nick Stemmet (Stanford) over Adrian Chavez (CSU Bakersfield) (MD 16-5) 285 Jacob Sieder (CSU Bakersfield) over Seamus O`Malley (Stanford) (Fall 2:46)
133 Extra: Logan Ashton (Stanford) over Alex Hernandez (CSU Bakersfield) (Dec 5-4) 285 Extra: Peter Ming (Stanford) over Jarrod Snyder (CSU Bakersfield) (Dec 9-2)
No Real Woods 141 for Tree. Then insert Abas at 149 and most everyone bumps a weight from LY. Van der Merwe, Eischens, & undefeated in college Griffith are all up 1 weight. No Traxler at 197...not sure of his or Woods status. They look tough though.
Also at 285. Ming a back up for Tree took out LY's starter and 3rd place Snyder from CSUB in an extra match. So CSB has upgraded their 285 spot with Sieder.
Both teams in Gill in 2 weeks. Both finished ahead of the Beavs in LY's conference tournament. It will be a good test to see where we stack up.
