"Are we going to get a PG to replace her anytime soon?" Ummmm, maybe not 'soon', but I'm thinking that with a bit more experience (i.e mid-way Soph season...Jan. 2023) that Van Oelhoffen >> Slocum. Ideally, well before that. Next year shoot for a .500 season and then the year after that back in old form. This is now at best a two year rebuilding season to make the NCAA's.
Next year is going be another tough one.

As a casual supporter and fan of the women’s team, I think the differences in the handling of head coaches between Tinkle and Rueck is striking. In my outsider opinion any criticism of Rueck is struck down with regularity. Tinkle gets hammered with regularity, even after a win by ee1990 at least! Interesting and bizarre.

Unless my math is wrong, one of the 2 coaches is 15-6 in NCAA Tournaments at OSU since 2014....the other is 0-1 in NCAA Tournaments at OSU since 2015. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. |

Well, this years team stinks. Last years team did too. He couldn’t/didn’t figure out how to use a quality player that transferred (yes, again) and is tearing it up. But you keep shouting down anybody that questions anything Rueck. That should right the ship.

What this team needs and doesn't seem to have is a person like Bluto of animal house fame. "What's all this lying around sh%&?" "What happened to the delta I used to know?" "Whose with me?" Etc.. I haven't seen that take charge person.

Sparty, depending on who returns, I would put down big money that next year's team is much better than .500. Much better! |
