Travel partners makes it difficult to reschedule games, but I wonder when we’ll see the Pac-12 start attempting to reschedule some.

Here's the long explanation from Washington. I guess they're suggesting that if they can only start full contact workouts today, then it's asking too much to travel and then play Friday. I'm pretty sure the Pac-12 has agreed to this in the past (i.e. if a team doesn't want to play within two days of a shutdown, the Pac-12 has previously agreed to cancel a game).

If they are going to make up games wouldn't it be easier if they have teams travel to Vegas(that would be the easiest) to make them up? If they did that they could make up a number of games in a short period of time. That, and the teams could be in a bubble at the same time if they needed to do that. Its not like there would be fans around anyway to make a difference for the home team. Maybe not makeup every game but most of them.

The stated reason for not scheduling make up games was the teams being tired due to injuries and covid thinning out team depth.
My guess would be that AD's finding themselves not having to pay for flight/hotel stays for some games was ok with them. And so wandering off to Vegas and paying for hotel stays etc...yeah, no.

This season is really not working out for the Beavs. With what looks to be a down year for the program, at least if they were going to miss games, it's a good year to do that. I'll be curious to see what the seniors decide to do with their future. I expect Aleah would return to play. I'm guessing Jovana will go play oversees, or stick around and get her Masters. Ellie is a big question? With new wings coming in, and Kennedy returning, will she want to stick around on the left coast when she is a long way from home? I'm thinking she may transfer somewhere else and finish her Masters. Aoo of those are pure guesses. Depth would certainly be nice if everyone stuck around. If Kennedy struggles to return to form as Kat and Taya seemly did, having the depth would be great.

beaverwbb fan - thanks for keeping us posted on things at OSU WBB.... A lot of us have Covid fatigue, and have lost our focus a bit....
The combination of a hard to predict schedule, and a hard to figure out team is a bit weird.... At any rate, glad to see the team getting two games in a 5 day period....Now if they can just win two games everything will be easier for everyone..... GO BEAVS!!
