Are the players on this year's team going to lose an entire year of eligibility over this farce of a season that is occurring?

No, the NCAA has decreed that everyone gets a pass on this season, and it does not count against eligibility.

I’ve got a question that no one may have the answer to quite yet. Will the freshman from this covid season be called freshman again this winter? Or do we think they will be listed as sophomores, and then decide their fourth year if they want to stay for a fifth? Just curious..

My understanding is EVERYONE gets a free year this year. Next years Seniors will just be Aleah if she chooses to stay. I think she will. Doubtful the other 2 will stay. Doesn’t seem like a great fit.
This is why Talia VanO came here early. She doesn’t lose a year.

They may refer to them as redshirt freshman or 'whatever class ' they are in now , for next year . They also may come up with a more unique qualifier .

In official paperwork for players it never says Freshman etc. It talks about year one etc. Whether you are a junior or whatever is irrelevant to your playing status. |

I know they said next year seniors will be called ‘super seniors’
I am assuming this years juniors, sophomores and freshman will just be the exact same next year.
