D1 baseball has us at #24, Baseball America and Perfect Game dropped us out of the top 25.

Baseball America has four ranked west coast teams: UW#20, Arizona #21, CS Fullerton #22, UC Santa Barbara #24.
D1 baseball has UW#17, Arizona #22, Fullerton and UCSB are not ranked.
Perfect Game has Arizona #24, UC Santa Barbara #25. Fullerton and UW are not ranked.

Looking at RPI, according to Boyd's World, here are the top west coast teams: UC Santa Barbara #19, Arizona #25, UW #35, Fullerton #41, OSU #42, Long Beach State #47, Cal #49, ASU #53.

This is where the boys either get up, dust themselves off and fight for the rest of this season and next, or go quietly into the night for a while. If the latter happens it will be a long rest of this year and likely have bearing on next season. Do not fear though, all real champions have to take this test. Remember the theme video from early this year? yah, the boys are there now.

There should be at least one western host. Arizona looks like it is in a good position. I know that there is a lot of impetus toward putting a regional in Seattle, so Washington may host as well.
