Just saw announcement that Xzavier Malone-Key is transferring to OSU for next year. Guard listed at 6-4, 185 will have one year of eligibility.

He averaged 12.3 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 2 apg last year. Sophomore year he averaged 11.4, 3.9, and 1.9. Last year he led team in scoring in 9 games (high of 29), assists 5 times and rebounding once. He had 17, 5 and 3 against Norte Dame and 6, 5 and 1 against Kentucky. Both were lopsided losses and team was 11-18 overall but had .500 record in Northeast Conference.
Doesn’t look like a big needle mover himself, but another piece.

I am concerned that this puts some of our better 'athletes' into a 'transfer' mind set . Not because of this announced move , but the fact that they can transfer without sitting ( albeit limited to one time )!

For example, I don’t know if he’s still having ankle issues, but if not lack of playing might see Silver looking elsewhere. Pity too because I’ve liked what I’ve seen of him in limited minutes — at least enough that I want to see him get more playing time. Maybe he’s just not getting it done in practice.

He’s still hurt, but feel free to keep predicting Is this insider trade secret or is this quoted somewhere in the media? It’s pay only, like the O now! BH is working on adding a coin slot.

The young, tough collegiate version of Xavier McDaniel from Witchita St. could transfer in and it wouldn't make a difference.... since Wayne wouldn't know to how utilize him. Lol

But he can say he was perfect from the field in NCAA tourney. Best of luck to him.
