Not sure if anyone else is following her but wow what a start she is off to. 29 points per game and 7 assists per game.
I know we recruited her but wonder how close we were. She looks like an absolute super star so far.
I mean, please don’t get me wrong, I love Sasha, but can’t help to imagine what it would be like to have both.

I've been following her. There are some outstanding Fr. this year, and she may very well be leading the pack. Van Lith is off to a very good start at Louisville. Bueckers finally made her debut for UConn today and it sounds like she didn't disappoint. Maybe years down the road we'll look back at the incoming Fr. of 2020 and be amazed at what a talented collection of players they turned out to be.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to watch any of Iowa's games, just seen some highlights. Her late game winning 3 against Iowa St. recently, just the way she moved and hitting a clutch shot like that, reminded me quite a bit of Ionescu.

She reminds me of somewhat of a cross between Wiese and Ionescu. She’s a lot of fun to watch. I think I would have taken her over Van Lith, but I think euther one of then would have really elevated the play of this team.
We did get her in Corvallis on an unofficial, but it appeared she wanted to stay home.

So we have a player from Iowa that reminds you of players from other teams. Why is this a topic on this board? Not trying to start something, but it seems a bit odd.

From what I've heard, her visit out west was primarily to visit Oregon. Their style of play was most attractive to her as she is a ball dominate point guard. Her family pushed her hard toward Notre Dame due to their faith and she actually committed there for a short while but had doubts right away since it really wasn't her decision. She ultimately made the decision she wanted, stay closer to home at Iowa where she could play her style of game and have the opportunity to do something special in-state.
