She isn't about to change the face of women's basketball. Would have liked her to come to Corvallis, but what the hell, she has all kinds of options at the uo and the udub. If nothing else she confirms to us all that men aren't the only stupid people on this planet. Take that 17 or 18 year old kid. WHY NOT JUST announce you are going to eugene? Hell. the freaking olympic team isn't waiting for you.

For all we know, Sabrina might be an Olympian. She's very good, but I loved the post about focusing on who we DID sign. A really great class, and Beaver fans have every reason to be stoked, even though the addition if Ionescu would have sent a lot of us over the moon in anticipation. The thing that excites me is that we grabbed an amazing player from Washington, and Tinkle got a star from that state as well. This just wouldn't have happened even 3 years ago (I have trouble believing that McLouglin would have stuck with his committment to CR had he seen one or two more train-wreck seasons in Corvallis!) One dominant player can make a huge difference in hoops, but championships won't be won by one dominant player, and only UConn gets whomever they want. If Sabrina was the national POY, I find it odd that Geno didn't appear to pursue her! Hole is detestable. Their resources and narcissistic DNA turns my gut, but they will be able to lure people. Graves is an excellent coach, but I wouldn't swap coaches with those guys for a second, and their slimy former Beav turned 'uck assistant is right where he belongs. Sabrina may choose Washington or go to hole, but since I know she's not going to be a Beav, I really could care less where she ends up. I'll lose track of her quickly, even if she ends up being the Second Coming somewhere else. I don't care much about Women's hoops in general, but I LOVE OSU women's hoops! I certainly bear this young lady no I'll-will. She exercised her right to choose where she plays, and unfortunately (and I don't begin to understand why) she didn't choose to play for an amazing coach, for a team that just played in the Final Four, in front of the best women's fans on the west coast and with a fantastic group of girls with lots of opportunity to make an early difference with the loss of 4 important players. I guess that not every high school senior sees this like I do, because of I attempt to go "neutral" on this, OSU should be the obvious choice among the 3 or 4 schools being mentioned in this process. In fact, other than UConn or if they wanted to be a doctor and chose Stanford, I can't think of why anyone west of the Rockies would choose anyone over OSU right now!
