Another concussion today. He really needs to consider hanging them up Cooks was evaluated for a concussion but did not have a concussion. Having said that, a sixth (at least) concussion might be a career ender. |

I've had 6 or 7 in my life. One of them a shattered skull, swelling on the brain and 4 hours of plastic surgery. I'm fine (insert joke here). Not everybody is the same. I'm not saying he should continue playing if he's not comfortable with it. For all the angst about long term dementia, there are thousands of examples where it isn't the case. Coal miners made far less to do what they could to set their family up. Or however you end that sentence grammatically correct...lol

I'm just saying that everybody is different. Some people are very susceptible, and others are almost immune. Until we can accurately diagnose CTE or it's precursor on a living person, the vast majority of athletic males participating in contact sports are going to continue doing what they love in order to make that money. |
