I hope we can refrain from personal attacks on this young lady (too late in at least one case in the other thread). I question the perspective of folks who make those type of posts.
Her supposed transgression is simply choosing a school other than OSU. We have no idea what role her family is playing and how much of this is actually even her decision.
I'm glad that she appears to be staying in the Pac-12 and look forward to seeing her play in Gill.

If I lose out on a great player, I'd rather not see them in Gill lighting us up for points and be reminded of her decision.

If I lose out on a great player, I'd rather not see them in Gill lighting us up for points and be reminded of her decision. Clarification 1
That's a "potentially great player". She hasn't accomplished squat at NCAA Division 1 level yet.
Clarification 2.
You're taking an unnecessarily pessimistic attitude (I won't even call it a "point of view").
I think we'll be fine. This "reminded of her decision" thing works both ways. And that can be pretty sweet.

#2 is not a clarification. It's you telling someone their opinion is wrong or pessimistic. Whether we're "fine" or not it's pretty normal to not want the possibility of good talent to play against you. Funny how you interpret comments on behaviors as "personal attacks" or imply anyone said it was a "crime", yet subtlety personally attack a fairly innocuous comment.

Nothing in my post was a personal attack on anyone. "Subtly" or otherwise.
On the other hand this post in the other thread on Ionescu:
"Rhymes with, "A tension door.""
Is a very personal and uncalled for attack against the character of a high school player we tried unsuccessfully to recruit to OSU.
That is not a personal attack against that poster. I'm sure he's a terrific all-around guy. Just wrong in this instance.

You need to try and get a grip on that concept.

And I'm not going to apologize for declaring it both wrong and uncalled for. And I'll also stand by my questioning of that poster's perspective in my original post.

And seem to also be confusing you're own posts and the responses to said posts. In this case, my initial reply was to your "clarification" post IN THIS THREAD. You also seem to be a bit of a hypocritical knight in shining armour. Maybe you should reread some of your not so personal attacks? Lol And to be clear... you're the only one that used the phrase. He implied it, right or wrong? Who cares. Just know it's was used fairly innocently and you pick that battle to fight. Then it's you that actually spells out the insinuating phrase and keeps calling attention to it AND your apparent morale superiority. I hope he apologized to get back into your good graces.

Her supposed transgression is simply choosing a school other than OSU. Where do you think the original 85% ... 10% .... 5% numbers originated from? Color you clueless. I must be because I have no idea what you are talking about.

I often wonder why it is simply not enough to disagree without creating a worthless discourse of airing disagreements. Does being right or wrong matter? It is simply two individuals who disagree? .

Per CAL fans that Washington is looking to fire one of their assistants to make room for her club coach. Is that a good enough reason to pick a school because you grew up with that coach? He has roots in Seattle.

She has no obligation to we fans. She doesn't have to tell us squat. It's her life. Apparently, she has decided that UO or UW is better for her than OSU. I wish her all the best.

Per CAL fans that Washington is looking to fire one of their assistants to make room for her club coach. This, of course, speaks volumes (and is probably true). This is the player that if she had her way (we were told), would rather "just show up to class in June" (than make any hubbub during the recruiting process). LOL Right.
