I check on the stats of our guys playing professionally more nights than not. Sometimes I wonder what the heck is going on.
Look at Danny Hayes. He got promoted to Charlotte (ChiSox AAA) this year. He started 0-21 with 14 strikeouts. Since that time he is 16-32, 3HR (slugging .906) and 5 K's. The last three games he is 9-11. I thought he had gotten the most out of his abilities but maybe he is destined for bigger things.

Wow.. that's nuts. and another reminder that it's a tough sport.
I always used to think 1 of 3 outcomes when Hayes came to the plate: Hit/Walk/Backwards K. He's extremely patient, sometimes to a fault, but as long as the organization values OBP, he should have a place somewhere because his is typically excellent. Who knows, he might put on more muscle over time and add a little more pop. didn't realize he was in AAA this year.
