Does anyone know the specific rules (guidelines) by which game cancellations are called? If there a specific number of players, etc. etc....
Is it a matter of each team getting to make their own call about whether they are able to play?
At any rate, I have not seen specific rules about game cancellation so I'm just wondering if anyone knows the particulars about this.....Thanks.... GO BEAVS!!

I haven't seen anything set in stone, I think the big issue is close contacts having to be quarantined. I assume with the game today, could have been 1 positive, but if the entire team was a close contact then you are out of luck. I think in the Pac-12, you will see teams have to shut down for at least a week with a single positive test. There is a reason the number of games required for the NCAA tournament is only 11.

Pac-12 actually just released their protocols. Pac-12 protocols

I am sure that the testing requirements and budget constraints make it very challenging to schedule non-conference games. Plus, geographically, there just aren't as many D1 schools to play in the Northwest. Seems like we have tried most (if not all) of them. At this point, we just need to be happy with whatever games we get to watch.
Not certain, but some schools may not be able to support "a minimum of four tests the week leading up to competition, including on game day"

Cal and the la schools are next.
The Thanksgiving spike is going to last until Christmas and then there will be an even larger spike.
