Following a busy summer and fall of tournament and showcase baseball, Perfect Game released their 2024 rankings today.
The Beavers continue their quest for top prep talent with two early commits in the 2024 class - both are Top-100 players with Perfect Game.
RHP Jake McKowen from the Sacramento area's Del Campo HS is ranked the #22 player nationally and C Ryan Vandenbrink from West Linn HS is ranked #86 nationally.
The PG rankings rank the top-500 players nationally.

There is an early indication of another 2024 verbal (PBR). Zach Edwards, a highly rated RHP out of Riverton, Utah. No other supporting confirmations as of yet...

Edwards is confirmed. I put him up on the other board by mistake.He committed on the 17th.

Generally in college baseball if you land a commitment from a Top-100 prep player, that's a big deal. You are getting a player with the potenntial to impact a game. For 2024 the Beavers have verbal pledges from 3 "game-changers". That's a helluva foundation for any recruiting class.
