Baseball America announced their Top-25 Recruiting class ranking today. UCLA is ranked 4th, OSU 16th and Stanford 21st from the PAC-12 Conference.
Durham, NC. based Baseball America ranked 5 of the Top-6 classes from SEC schools and 20 of the Top-25 schools are from the south - SEC (11) and the ACC (9). The PAC-12 had (3), with the BIG-10 (1) and Big-12 (1) rounding out the ranking.
These rankings will change following next summer's MLB Draft. Florida, Vanderbilt, LSU and Tennessee are expected to suffer big losses in a 20 Round Draft.
A comment from BA

Perfect Game aligns with Baseball America and the stars - we are 16th nationally.
The PAC-12 had 3 standout recruiting classes.
1. UCLA 2. Oregon State 3. Arizona
The rest of the pack wasn't close.

Outfielder Nick McLain and shortstop Cody Schrier, two of California’s top high school prospects in this year’s draft class, have informed MLB teams that they are removing themselves from the draft, Baseball America learned Friday night 7/9/2021.
McLain ranked as the No. 88 prospect on the BA 500 and will no longer have a chance to be drafted in the same class as his brother, Matt, who is one of the top college players in the class as UCLA's shortstop. Schrier ranked No. 113 on the BA 500 and was part of why this year’s prep shortstop class is highly regarded.
Both are committed to UCLA and will join the Bruins next season.

We were ranked 16th prior to Malakhi Knight flipping to UCLA. Losing your top ranked recruit impacts your team ranking. Any meaningful class ranking won't be out until a month after the draft.

So true. This is (was) a very dated ranking - Fall of 2020. My main reason for posting yesterday was to report the info that two of UCLA's high-ranked recruits were removing themselves from the draft. That action was something that I wasn't even aware was done by players. For instance, I'd never heard of an OSU recruit doing that before the MLB draft.
