Michael Tsoukalas, a 6'3", 215 pound C/OF/P will not be a member of the 2021 recruiting class. He is no longer committed to OSU
Michael is a left handed hitter with a quick bat and some developing power. His ultimate position has been in question after he had a very good summer playing in some big tournaments as an outfielder. Scouts like his bat but aren't sure where he fits best defensively. That issue is compounded by the Beavers bringing in the top catching prospects in both Arizona (Tanner Smith) and Oregon (Wilson Weber) in this class.
Tsoukalas plays at Arlington HS in Snohomish county, Washington. He competes in the WesCo 3A/4A Conference that OSU recruits heavily. Recently, Trevor Morrison, Kyle Nobach, Jake Mulholland, Kyler McMahan, Carter Booth, Ben Stack, and Ryan Ober all prepped in that league. Malakhi Knight is also a WesCo recruit.
Michael was committed to the Beavs for a long time. Wish him well in his Senior year next spring and wherever he plays college ball, he will do well.
