Why is Jasmine wearing 0 ? She probably wanted to wear it before but Mik already had it. It doesn't happen often but once in a while a player switches numbers.

Yea, that didn't age well. And I am among the ones that thought she would be WAY more impactful than she has been. I honestly still think she has all the tools and is just is lacking confidence to make a significant impact, but clearly, what do I know? Regardless, now is the time we really need her game to elevate.

Otherwise, his shrewd analysis would likely have been right on. Right, you hairy-faced rodent?

beaverstever: I'm totally with you in hoping this is the year Jas steps up her game in a big way.... She's got a lot of good things going for her, especially her basketball athleticism and her physical toughness.....
One of my basketball mentors used the expression "two-thirds there" to describe players who did a whole lot good, but a few things not so good. That's kinda how I see Jas after two years in the program. I'm really rootin' for her. Her "one-third not there" is, in my mind, rather specific to her interior game especially (1) dribble penetration without getting in trouble, (2) passing effectively in tight spaces, and (3) knowing what to do with the ball after she's lost her dribble and doesn't have a shot (the same problem Pivic had her first two years in the program.)
But, like everyone else, I'd love to see her erupt on the scene and have a great break out year....But, in my view, she won't until she gets a much better handle on her one-third missing. GO BEAVS!!

Players sometimes report that they reach a certain point and the game just "slows down" for them. What used to require mental calculation just become instinct. That's what Jas needs . . . she has the tools, she just can't draw on them instinctively yet.
