I see where Matt pitched 4-2/3 in relief today for the Tigers. Good for him regarding getting called back up so soon.
A few other notes: Jeff Hendrix has a small six game hitting streak going. Dylan Davis is hitting better. Cole Gillespie's bat is coming alive. I'm very surprised the Marlins did not keep him as his numbers were very good in his 145 at bats last season.

Romero is killing in at Tacoma. IIRC > .400
he needs a spot to open on the big league roster where he can get some consistent playing time

Romero is killing in at Tacoma. IIRC > .400 he needs a spot to open on the big league roster where he can get some consistent playing time The pathetic management of the Mariners will never make that happen. Last season the entire Rainier's outfield was outhitting the pathetic Mariner outfield and nada. Romero started with the Mariners 2 seasons ago but was sent down after they traded for a right fielder who promptly went 0fer the month. Best thing that could happen is the Mariners fire their management. They almost make the Cleveland Brown's look good.

IIRC Romero did get about 10 days to play every day. And did decent. All off the top of my head. So he may have hit .157
