I surely miss it. Dad took us to the Fiesta Bowl in 2001. The reason why is that he said that he did not believe that he would live to see a better Beaver team. Here we are 20 years later, and, so far, his words are still ringing true.

That’s why I went..... wasn’t sure we’d ever get back... after the before time..... but In my heart of hearts ... I hoped we would. Not the bowls we went to after... but another bcs bowl.... that was a blast..... Still waiting, lol.

I hoped we would. Not the bowls we went to after... but another bcs bowl.... that was a blast..... Still waiting, lol. I remember Casey Kjos running that quick slant into the end zone to put Oregon State up 30-21 in the 2009 Civil War, and starting to plan the trip to Pasadena in my head. And then Dockery got beat on 4th & 6. And then the touchdown. 30-28. And then Kenny Rowe beat Michael Philipp to end the next drive. 33-28. And then LMJ broke that 52 yarder three plays later. 34-33. And then Oregon's field goal. 37-33 And then Quizz almost broke one but didn't. James came up with his circus catch. And then Rowe beat Philipp and James couldn't come up with a second circus catch. And then Jeremiah Masoli ran over Lance Mitchell. And then there was that terrible spot. And then the safety got sucked in on 4th & 2, which allowed Kenjon Barner to rush for a first down. And then Riley screwed up with the timeouts. In my head, that is as close as we have come since.
