I saw that in this morning's GT. It's really good to know that we'll at least be able to watch them on TV, and that we'll actually get to see how this team develops. Hopefully, we'll be able to go to games at Gill.
I noticed that they extended the dead period for recruiting until January 1.

This is great to know that there is a plan and I'm looking forward to the season. I do hate, and I'll repeat that word "hate" that they are shortening the season by 4 games. They couldn't start the post season a week or two later?
The reason I hate the shorter season is more for the players than for myself. I don't like that they have less of a chance to break school, conference, or even NCAA records because they have a shorter season. For players like Taylor, who had a good shot at Oregon State's career rebounding record, she will now have two seasons in a row cut short. I guess she'll just have to make sure the team goes to the final four the next three seasons to make up some of those games.

Sid finished her career with 373 threes, tied for 12th all time. The leader is Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis of Connecticut with 398, so Sid was 25 short. While Kaleena was at Connecticut, they reached the finals of the conference tournament every year, and they won the national championship every year. That's 24 extra games in the NCAA tourney alone. Sid had plenty of post season games, but nowhere near as many as Kaleena. Tied for second place with 392, just 6 behind, are Laurie Koehn of Kansas State and Heather Butler of Tennessee Martin. Next, at 391, are Shrieka Evans of Grambling and Erin Thorn of BYU. Any one, and probably all, of those ladies would have been on top had they played at a more successful program. So would Dawn Evans of James Madison (387). But that's the breaks, folks, for all of them and Taylor too.
