The talent differential is just astounding. Talent at every position.

The talent differential is just astounding. Talent at every position. Wake Forest is the smallest Power Five teams. I am surprised that the ACC hasn't swapped them out for someone better. Having said that, the Demon Deacons have put together four consecutive winning seasons. That is the first time that that has happened since they were a V-12 team from 1944-1948 under their greatest coach of all-time, Douglas Clyde "Peahead" Walker. (The dude's given name was Daniah.)

They also provided one of the more enjoyable non-Beaver bowl game memories, for me at least. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_Seattle_Bowl

Don't forget that Wake also beat Oregon in the 1992 Poulan/Weed Eater Independence Bowl. The Ducks blew a 29-10 lead with less than four minutes left in the third quarter to lose 39-35. That was Wake's first bowl win since the inaugural 1946 Gator Bowl. Until 2007, half of Wake's bowl victories had come against Oregon. The Ducks have more bowl losses to the Demon Deacons than any other team in the country.
