I wish I was a lawyer right now. Between sports, Covid and bankruptcy cases, there is not going to be enough courtrooms, judges and legal peeps to clear the dockets for years.

The lawyers are missing the prisons. I am an inmate. Yes, I live in close contact, tight quarters with my fellow inmates. But, none of us have gone nowhere. The only way that COVID got inside was through employee, contractors that management allowed in. The state, Mr. Deep Pockets, better watch out.

Not that I am shaming you or anything, but that statement does not jive with things you have posted recently. Are you using a metaphor? I am all confused.

I took it that he was making a hypothetical point even though it’s not written that way. I don’t think he’s saying he IS an inmate even though he is saying he is an inmate. That’s just my best guess.

OK,I was a union goon. Management had the right to manage, unspoken was that management had the right to mismanage😃. The one obligation that management had the absolute responsibility to do was provide a safe environment. Put aside the the industrial part.. In a custodial situation, (prisons, nursing homes, care facilities, etc)management has the strict obligation to provide safety for the custodials. That usually means doing everything reasonable that a reasonable person would expect. Early on, there was obviously huge f'ups out of ignorance. Now, they have learned. There is no doubt in my alleged mind, that now what happens is they get a COVID positive employee who is totally asymptomatic comes to work and starts the bug, and once it gets in that environment, it is katy bar the door. How you prevent that, who knows.
BTW, mrs sage has been in a rehab facility for two weeks and I have not seen her. They allow no visitors. In fact, the contractors who deliver patients are not allowed inside. They deliver people to the front door and the folks inside take care of them from there. mrs sage had a test the day before she got there and just had another one yesterday.

I believe Nebraska's membership in the Big-10 is voluntary. Subject to the terms of their membership agreement, they're free to leave any time they choose. Just like they left the Big-12 in 2012.
