This was a blast to hear, finally to know a little inside info on what's happening with the team ! Sometimes I see bits and pieces of video from Ron's podcasts and would love to see the whole thing with video , not just sound. What am I missing, are they on tv at some point? any help appreciated

beaverwbb fan - - thanks for posting the podcast....It was an enjoyable session - the coaches were upbeat and interesting.... They were a bit rah-rah, but you pretty much gotta expect that....
Coach-speak is not easy to decode, but the points they made that I found most interesting had to do with Goforth and Mitrovic. Coaches as much as said they expect Goforth to start, and that she will be a valuable contributor from Game One....Very encouraging to me. No way they would talk this way about a Frosh unless they see her as a real-deal player. When they spoke in the same tone last year about Jones I was skeptical. Not now. I think we might have a real good one in Goforth.
I was surprised at how effusive the Coaches were about Mitrovic. Apparently she has trimmed down, is more mobile, and she is moving well. (These may be part of the reasons that Patricia Morris transferred.) If Mitrovic' game is as good as described on this podcast, Morris would be looking at very little floor time this year....
Coaches also had good things to say about WSU transfer (Subasic?) and Ellie Mack. But, to me, the coaches didn't describe them as game changers. My experience: when coaches talk about a player's character you've got a good player; when they talk only about their game - you've got a star. Subasic and Mack got character references!!
At any rate, thanks for posting a fun podcast during a time of the year when nobody really yet knows anything for sure.... GO BEAVS!!

Really enjoyed that. Thanks for posting!
What I felt was another real positive was Jonas's comments on Taylor, saying she "had a great summer" perhaps the best of any player, and that she was "stronger, more in shape, and a better athlete". He seemed pretty hyped up about her.
Jovanh is already a proven Pac-12 player, and it was interesting to note that Maryland was one of the schools after her. The comments on Ellie (all from Jonas) were "warrior", "leadership", "tremendous skill set", "good shooter" and "understands the game".
And of course, you gotta love the comments on Sasha BH---"motor that is unique" and JC---"ready to go day 1". I think we already knew that, but this just confirms what most of us were thinking.

I really hope that this team has a chance to play. It will be interesting to see them play. Out of 13, only six have played in a game as a Beaver. That makes for a lot of unknowns.
