Between Vidlak, Kuenzi, Whisenhunt and now Doyle I think we've got a pretty bright future at the lower weights.

Some 'ink' from The Open Mat on recruiting news.... "It seems like every time you turn around first-year head coach Chris Pendleton has secured a new commitment for his Oregon State program. This weekend was no different as the Beavers received a verbal from Caleb Coyle (Millard South, NE). Caleb was a 2020 Nebraska state champion at 113 lbs and has made the state finals during all three years of high school competition. Last summer, Caleb went out to Fargo and came away with All-American honors at the Junior level in both styles, taking fifth in Greco and sixth in freestyle (at 106 lbs). He was also fourth the previous year in Cadet Greco. Before the 2019-20 season, Coyle was sixth at USA Wrestling’s Preseason Nationals. His commitment is significant for the program’s future since Millard South is Nebraska’s top program and features a handful of future DI wrestlers. It would be a great place to establish a pipeline for Pendleton’s team. Coyle projects as a 125 lber, which is always helpful to have." news.theopenmat.com/high-school-wrestling/toms-recruiting-news-8-17/78725?utm_source=Open+Mat+Newsletter&utm_campaign=cd590f309c-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_03_30_03_22_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0b256fb8bf-cd590f309c-33160289
