I believe it's the silver 'marker' on the floor or that thing on the wall (upper right)... Someone should get a hold of him and get this cleared up! i asked him. It's the mark on the wall. I thought maybe it was the area between the orange stripes on the floor. If I recall the excavation of the bone was quite large, with at least one very large piece intact.
I think they should do a mural on the wall or something on the floor to indicate the true size.
I know its not a public area, but would be kinda cool for donor tours to take people down there to get a photo of the mammoth bone image on the floor or wall.

Wonder if they r still gunna change the color of the valley football center roof? I remember someone on here saying the roof was gunna be changed or something.

Can anybody tell me if the ugly faded orange metal roof is going to be replaced on the Valley Football Center? Seems strange they would remodel and pump as much $ as they have into it without changing that? |

Several months ago I heard they were looking into painting the orange sheet metal roof a more neutral color. Seems like matching the grayish color of the roof on the Indoor Practice Facility would make sense to tie it all together. I also heard the large banner on the roof turned out so well they were thinking of replacing it with a new banner for this season. The webcam has been turned back to the center of Reser and isn't showing the Valley Football Center anymore, so we'll need some eyes on the ground to let us know if the roof color changes.

Just noticed the webcam too. I believe in the original mock ups, the roof was a whiteish grey. I hope they do change it, otherwise, it looks pretty out of place, and dated.
