I took a tour yesterday and things are going to be completed by game one..at least as far as the football related portions.
The atrium/entry/Hall of Fame will not be substantially complete until probably February. it is going to be awfully nice and will be open to the public on game days. Overall, it is a hell of a building and will (and has made) make a great impression on recruits.
One other thing...the more work we do down there, the more the old side sticks out. You really almost have to avert your eyes. I was with Dave Montagne and a guy named Mark from the AD (can't remember his last name, but I think he is basically Todd's right hand man), he said it the final phase will be likely done within five years.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. Looks like in the pic taken from the end zone looking back up towards the east that a new light pole will be in the way of some upper deck seats in viewing one side of that end zone. Not a big deal, but you think that would have been caught before placing the light pole.

interesting, as im watching the web came the seats r gonna be black, always thought they were gonna be orange? since its called the orange terrace or orange club something like that? anyways, its cool to see the seats finally going in! im very curious to know where the visitor locker room and visor team entrance will be?

Closer look at the new seats and padding added to the endzone wall. In the concept videos and pictures, the dated orange roof/exterior was updated and looked sharp. Anyone know if they plan on working on that too in the next week or so before it is set to be completed? |

I know I'm pretty doom and gloom about the team's prospects this season, but it's not because I don't want to see them succeed. I'm genuinely happy for these kids. Here's hoping this enthusiasm carries over into next Thursday!
