I have been injured. It pisses you off and you are disappointed. It can be hard to overcome especially the more competitive you are which she is. Hope things work out for her.

Athletes get injured and have to sit out games. Nothing new about that. I recall when Syd got injured during the middle of the Final Four season when we were in a super-tight race for the conference championship and we needed her out on the floor. I'm sure she had her down moments but I never saw her sulking for a second. That's what impresses me.  But I agree with your last sentence. The injury is a temporary obstacle. I certainly wish Sabrina no ill and hope it works out for her and her supporters. |
