rmancarl - - interesting thoughts... Some of my way too quick reactions to your thoughts - after a long night of too many Canadian ryes... 1. No way she is here, taking classes, and not on scholarship - - unless her parents own a small part of the region of Portugal they live in... 2. There is nothing about this addition that screams "I can help this team right now." Unless she is a talent who has been squashed by her coach, she has thus far done very little to indicate b ball exceptionality... 3. when was the last time a guard from Europe made a splash in the Pac as a frosh or as a soph? 4. why are the last two of Rueck's brought-in-out-of-the-blue guards in the 5'6 range? When has Coach ever started a 5'6 guard?? OK, I'm gonna stop now...I wish her well....But I can't see her moving this year's needle in any direction.....Period. GO BEAVS!! Slocum was a 5-6 starter. I'm 5-9 and she isn't 5-7 imo. Saw her a couple days before she entered the transfer portal in my store along with Tudor. If Faustino can be a role player at this level,that would be a great addition to the 20/21 roster this late. |

Being on the short side is not unusual for a Faustino. Just look at David Faustino who is listed as only 5'3".

The new additions will help keep osu in the race for a top four in the conference...Faustino,Samuel,Subasic and Goforth. I know Andrea and Jaz are still on campus of course...saw them last eve.

I would sure hope at this point in the program that we're shooting for much better than just "top four in the conference"!! We should be battling for #1 every single year!

The Pac-12 is one of the top two conferences in the country. Before the addition of Faustino and Subasic,we only had 8-9 healthy bodies going into the season. I agree the conference title should be the goal every year,but Stanford,Ucla,uo,ASU,and Arizona are all top 25 teams imo. This conference beats each other up every year... |

Hopefully, we will be adding Kat Tudor to this team for one more year. Does anyone have any insight into Kat's future?
