SR has historically been very patient with bigs, taking on some projects that paid off as upperclassmen, especially their Sr years. However, he didn't have a roster then that offered much alternative - I wonder if we'll see less of that moving forward. Taylor came in able to immediately contribute, and JM looks like she will be able to some her first year somewhat as well. When I watched Trish's HS highlights, it was clear she would at best provide rim protection and no offense until some major work in the program. Her leaving to me signaled that those opportunities at OSU for project bigs may be gone for the current era.

Don't know anything about TCU, but I expected Trish to make much more of an impact....Maybe that will come later.... I can't imagine she would choose TCU if the coach was not encouraging and optimistic about her value to the program...Otherwise, why the hell do you move to Lubbock?
Trish's Dad is knowledgeable about the game, and he has contacts in the basketball world, so I assumed she moved into a program that needed and wanted the skill set she has to offer.... GO BEAVS!!

If you moved to Lubbock expecting to play for TCU, you would be sorely disappointed. You might find yourself playing for Texas Tech though. TCU is in Ft. Worth.

So, with her coming in while Jones and Mitrovic are still here, I would think there is little likelihood of another player at Tricia's stage of development being brought in over the next few years.

Patricia Morris, 6'7" transfer from Lady Beavs to TCU (in Fort Worth, TX, of course) has played in 3 games, an avg of 5 min. per game, scored 9 points (3.0 avg), got 6 rebounds (2.0 avg), committed 3 TOs, and blocked 1 shot.
