I hope that he and his new department does well, and now I can breath a little easier. Sometimes when you are on campus it's tricky to sort things out, and it will be nice that if I get a ticket, it won't follow me like a State Police ducat.

He's got the perfect opportunity to start from scratch and put into place something that fits what people want/need.

I really didn't like it when they brought the state police in in the first place. The old campus security was pretty damn good, they were more about serving the students than giving out tickets. I was pulled over twice for speeding by them, once was 33mph up Jefferson and the other 36 up 29th. Both times were on my bicycle and I was on an actual street both times and not a walkway. The first time the officer just wanted to take a look at my bike. The second time was several months later by the same officer, he was laughing when he walked up to me and just wanted to say hi. After that he would always wave to me or say hi if possible.
He lost his job when osp came in like many others.

If he called it in it was after I left but I don't think he did. That was sure a fast bike running on sew ups.
