I'm personally not too impressed with it for two reasons. The first is there was another team that could have won 70 if they didn't rest their players and second, I don't think the bottom half of the NBA has ever been so bad. I think players today are more interested in getting paid then playing competitive basketball.

I think players today are more interested in getting paid then playing competitive basketball. Agreed... what is there 4 (or more teams) than back in the "elite" era of the NBA. Watered down with more teams and in my opinion the influx of European players. What used to be scoffed at as "soft" basketball in European leagues/players is the "new" NBA. Very hard to watch, I can only flip and see a few minutes of a Blazer game at a time. As GP has said, he could not play in today's league, he'd foul out in the first quarter. I disagreed with him... think he might get two T's before that on some nights! He agreed LOL

I love that Bend, Oregon was considered part of the bay-area blackout for the GOlden State game. Instead I got to watch Kobe heave up 50 shots in a rec-league game. Have a good retirement, rapist.
