I truly mean it. Your support of what mrs sage is going through is special. I read to her all your comments when I talk to her on the phone. She thinks that you guys are her fans is great. It means a lot to her, People neither of us know and never met reaching out. It means even more to me. If any of you people need anything, just message me on the board. who's chopping onions in here?
Right now, for me, there is so much I can't do. Talk to a neighbor in person, but from a distance. No high school sports for my kid. No track & field personal records for the seniors when several of them were ready to set new ones. No concerts, no awards programs. Nothing I can do to help fight Covid 19 virus.
But there is a list of what I can do: plant the garden, thin the apples, take care of my family, grocery shop for the neighbors, and right at the top is this. Cheer for Mrs Sage, my current favorite athlete! Time to set another personal record for steps tomorrow, right? You've got this.

I was where you are 3 years ago. All you can do is cheer her on. No victory is too small. This is her rebuilding season, she has a great coach, and a lot of supportive fans. Sports cliches aside, Mrs Sage's resilience will amaze you. |
