Today at PT she had some success. Therapist had he up between the parallel bars walking mostly supported by her arms. Then, went to get her walker. mrs sage got about 10 feet in. This broken leg has set her back from her spinal condition and she is down because she still can't feel her right foot, but up on two legs on day one is a definite plus. Baby steps.

Keep rockin' that PT Mrs. Sage. You are upright, you are walking. You've got this.

Hoping she gets the feeling back in the foot. I cut most of the nerves to my left foot 40 years ago in a really stupid manner. I have full use and motion, fortunately, but there are some really strange things I still deal with. Beware of the "itch."

The itch--mrs sage has, before he latest incident, has appropriated my metal BBQ turner to scratch various parts because it is easier to reach and is effective.

The itch--mrs sage has, before he latest incident, has appropriated my metal BBQ turner to scratch various parts because it is easier to reach and is effective. Now she might have an itch on her foot that all the scratching and rubbing won't alleviate. The itch will be a faulty signal to the brain that the foot has an itch, and it really will be an overwhelming itch. Get the nerves working again, Mrs. Sage.

Hang tough, Sage. It’s hard to see your sweetheart go through it. She’ll be good as new in no time. Take care

PT walking today-- 30 feet, to 63 feet, to 77 freaking feet. Just a few days from immobility to 77 feet. I am so proud of that woman.
