Ultra sound to check the stents in her leg and blood flow. The hell with social distancing. We got hugs, kisses, nuzzles touches. The whole nine yards. She even tugged on my goatee and told me to trim it. Told her it grows until I can safely get a hair cut. Going to go hippie on her. Better yet, another one tomorrow to see what the vein doctor says.

Quality doctors in Bend. Ortho doctor had her on the table to repair the femur. Noted veinous damage. Made emergency call to a vein doctor. Guess they were talking amputation. Vein doctor went to work. Saved the leg. One vein place on the dry side. Next closest is Portland.

Thought about it last night during the sleepless hours. Tell Mrs. Sage that as Beaver fans, we cheer extra hard for our athletes while they are facing adversity. She's the only athlete we have to cheer right now, and she sure is dealing with adversity.
