College FB season is toast. With all the medical experts predicting a fall rebound of the virus and even this Spring's cases still spreading, it just isn't happening. Of course, the stable genius who knows everything about anything has not weighed in yet.

So, once again, certain posters on here can post their snide comments, with impunity. What a joke.
On a more real and serious note - news flash - everyone is going to be exposed to this virus sooner or later. The only thing that will stabilize this, minus a vaccine, is herd immunity. As studies are being released, data out of NY and Cali point to the numbers of people who have already had it are upwards of 10X the number of cases reported - maybe even higher. They already have the antibody. Hiding in your basement, or in the corner with a blanket over your head, isn't going to save you.
The sooner we all get outside and get some fresh air, the better. Having listened to a particular political persuasion in this country for years saying we should be more like Sweden, go take a look at how they are handling it, and the results they are getting.
Football should be played this fall, as it is all outdoors, and responsible people can do this. Hell, if it makes you feel better, have every player/ coach tested beforehand, and tell fans they have to wear a mask.

Problem is, they don’t know yet if people who have had Covid-19 have immunity to protect them against reinfection. |

Sweden's population is 10.3 million. It had 2,192 virus deaths as of yesterday.
North Carolina's population is 10.4 million. It had 269 deaths as of yesterday. Sweden's neighbor, Norway, adopted a social distancing policy much like the US and has a population of 5.368 million, with only 201 deaths.
Yeah, Sweden's approach is working great. If you want to kill people.
Trump is the one who calls himself a very stable genius. So I'm not exactly sure how referring to him as the exact same thing he calls himself qualifies as a snarky remark. Maybe Trump was being sarcastic?
