I remember the Anderson-Clemons recruiting war. Both Oregon and Oregon State were recruiting both of them. It boiled down to who committed where first. Anderson eventually went first. But imagine, the top two QBs in the state, recruited by D-1 schools and had nice NFL careers came from Scapoose and Burns. That's incredible.

Interesting so far, in first 18 picks, 8 were hogs. 5 on O, 3 on D. It's what's of front that counts. (Old Marlboro commercial).

Mel Kiper, Jr is a class act. Had a 5K bet with McShay on who would be picked first, Herbert or Love from Utah State/ Kiper wins and tells McShay to write the check to the Jimmy V fund.
