Pac-12 network is replaying our home game against ASU on Monday at 7:30pm. I believe that's the one with Mik's buzzer beater! They've been re-playing some good games from this season. I was feeling a little low yesterday, so I watched ASU beat tsdtr in Tempe. I'm doing much better, thank you. |

On another note, I wonder how the season would have played out had we swept the az schools. Just re-watched tonight the overtime loss to Arizona at Gill. Another game in which the Beavs had control of the game up 7 in the 3rd quarter, but then the offense languished for 5 minutes with Jones and Pivec both on the bench with three fouls. A defensive battle that the Beavs kicked away with a number of empty possessions in the final three minutes of regulation when the team could not generate a quality shot. |

Arizona will be tough next year and as long as Adiah Barnes is coaching. Very impressed with her recruiting and commitment to both ends of the floor !

I can't believe arizona grew a program and surpassed us. A little premature for that statement. It is true that Arizona finished higher than OSU in the national polls and in the PAC-12 standings this season. I believe that Arizona beat Oregon State in overtime this season to split the season series and break a 13-game losing streak to the Beavers overall. Barnes is building an improved program, but it still has a ways to go to be considered a better program than OSU. One season with a better record and a higher finish in the national polls is more of a trend than a tradition. If Arizona can do it again next season, then the trend is extended to two seasons. Beyond that, then the statement about surpassing carries more legitimacy. |
