Got moved from hospital to rehab. Ambushed the transporter guy leaving the hospital. Got actual hug and kisses hello. Followed him to rehab. Got another hug and kisses goodbye again. Transporter guy could not have been better and more patient about it. Back to phone and maybe face time for a while. They are going to give her 2-3 PT sessions a day with one day off a week. Moving forward. All you people out there take care of yourselves and your families.

If you don't stop hugging and kissing the transporter guy people are going to start talking! Not that there is anything wrong with that of course.

Ok, you know what I meant. The transporter guy was wearing a hole mask. Not only was he patient, I followed him and he gave Phyllis a slow, gentle ride. I could have walked faster than he drove as he went over the entry over the sidewalk. Good for him. Told him so.

Thanks for the update, and the funny visuals! Take care, Mrs. Sage. You are strong, you've got this for your PT sessions.

Great to hear you got to not just see her but also have some physical contact. You have my admiration, I'm not so sure I could have held it together through all of this.

Being a retired postal worker, and way back in the day, I would get real pissed off to hear the term, "going postal", right now I could "go postal" in a heart beat. I don't sleep well, I don't eat well, I can't think for more than a few seconds. I could to f'ing nuts real easy. Fortunately, I have some good friends and you folks on this board that keep be fairly straight. BTW, back in the day when all you heard was "going postal", the Postal Service was way down the list of homicides in the work place behind things like conveniences, taxis, gas stations, bars, etc.

In good spirits. She does miss our annual Easter egg hunt. Whether we are at home or in the RV we hide candy filled eggs and have a hunt. She told me today that she misses it.

Can you drop off some Easter eggs to her rehab place & ask them to hide them in her room, easy to find with her pointing at them? Can't stop that tradition because of coronavirus!

I am now officially a Peeping Tom. Went to the rehab place and looked through the window in their gym. Able to smile and wave. Then, at the end, we were able to actually talk face to face through a barely cracked window and we were at least 6 feet apart.
