I have my opinion. What's yours? Beavers. I didn't realize it at the time but that 21 pt spread was actually a compliment.

I agreed the Beavers is 2nd behind UConn.
Who will replace Ruth and who replace Jamie? Ruth and Jamie are fun to watch and will be missed. Hunter, Hill and Siegner will also be missed.

OBVIOUS... Jamie will be the biggest loss by far. More than the stats, her pure will to pull the team along is not something we can replace. She had a tenacity and ability to transfer it to her teammates that most people don't. Some will blast me for this (what's new!?), Ruth is loved and rightly so, but Marie is much more athletic and is developing a nice face up game. More worried about depth here. Who plays "Marie" to her "Ruth 2.0"? We have a couple kids that have the sturdiness and will fill the void of Hunter... and Sam. We will need 2-3 willing to do the dirty work. Obviously Katie Mac and Kalmer need to step up and take some pressure off Sid, plus we need a "surprise" development. If I'm not mistaken without looking we take the biggest hit. The league will not drop a notch and I can't see us defending the title right now on paper. But, I also think there are some girls ready to contribute that have had to bide their time.

I totally get what you are implying, and in my heart I agree. Unfortunately I think the second best team in the nation may be UCONN's bench. Everyone else still has soooo far to go to catch them. Not impossible, but will take LOTS of work.

Well... not aware I did that. I would guess it could of been where a bunch of people had quoted quotes and you are in a hurry or worse on the mobile site. But, on the other hand I was unaware you kept such close tabs... and "score"! :>)
I'll try to be better and take a small load off your plate.

Yep. In my memory this was the greatest woman's team in OSU history. Unfortunately for them, it happened during the peak of uconn dominance. And uconn may go down as the greatest collegiate womens team in history. What a great year though!

Now THAT is the way to hijack a thread. :-( In all fairness he was answering a question that was asked in the post before his. Thx 94... BUT... It's a forum, no fairness allowed! Or mistakes... or unpopular view points/opinions... or sarcasm lest it be misinterpreted... or... However, you can read between the lines of said electronic/anonymous messages and surmise almost to a certainty a poster's... emotional state, intellectual capabilities, marital status and relationship prowess, parenting skills, experience/background in a topic(s), if they are truly a good or bad Beaver fan.... and? LOL... sorry probably should not giggle at my own posts either! But, it is all in fun... right?

While some posters may want to cause angst for the sake of causing angst, how exciting is it to answer this thread by saying that the coaches poll says we're second best!
