With all the companies throughout the US, GM, Ford, 3M, Pillow guy, thousands of them, stepping up to make "stuff" for our medical people and virus related issues, I have heard exactly bumpkis about uncle Phil's company doing anything proactive. Seems like they would be in perfect position to make PPE, masks, whatever was needed for the 1st level responders. Did I miss something??

Not desirable to import such items from China, Vietnam, Malaysia. All they make in Beaverton is new fancy buildings and millionaires!

They produce in third world countries - I don't think that would lend itself to making sterile product in a timely manner . Changing equipment and set ups plus training and material acquisition all in less than 3-4 weeks , is pretty difficult ! But, good idea. Even 3M is unable to keep up with the increased demand in a core business !
