Maybe, just maybe, mrs sage will be transferred to a rehab facility today (Monday) if after the doctors check her out and they can find a bed. She will not be able to put any weight (zero weight) on her leg for at least a month, not even a toe touch to floor. We'll see. Will probably hear later this morning, early afternoon. I will be there when they wheel her in so at least we can get some real face time. Rehab facilities are locked down, too. That's awesome news that she is this close to transferring to rehab! Fingers crossed that a bed can be found today and you can see her lovely face. You both have got this. You are both strong. |

mrs sage will be moved tomorrow, sometime late morning, early afternoon. I kind of had to go into asshole mode. I told them it was too late today to start the process. We went through this once before when they moved her between 4-5 PM. after her spinal problems. The staff was getting patients ready for supper and then going to their night time skeleton staff so the transition was terrible. By the time they got her ready, got transport lined up it was going to be at least that late so I pretty much insisted with a pretty firm NO, not today. Hospital agreed without me having to go profane and nuts on them.
Things are looking up. Only trouble is that the facility she wanted to go to is not accepting any new patients due to the virus.
